: To stop being called out for not meeting someone during the holidays, she was finding a ‘holidate’.
On a daily, she does whatever she wants to do and during the holidays, she meets a ‘holidate’ so that she can stop being nagged during the holidays. She liked it that way and they ultimately become partners.
But, meeting often, they get close and start depending on each other.
And in the beginning, since they are in a special relationship in which they don’t need to hide anything, they are honest with each other about everything. But eventually, they start hiding their feelings. We also start to realize that they fall in love with each other.
It’s ironic because they love one another, yet they hide the truths from each other.
I think that since they love each other, they should express their honest emotions, but they are afraid that expressing true emotions can hurt the other. So, they decide not to act rashly. I thought this act of theirs is so lovely.
I think this is exactly a romantic comedy movie’s charm.
